1. The essential cookie
wl_session keeps you signed in to the learner portal. It is set when you sign in, is only readable by our server, and expires after seven days or when you sign out. The portal cannot work without it.
2. Analytics cookies (only with your permission)
If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that let us count visits and see which pages are useful. They last up to two years and don't identify you by name. If you choose “Essential only”, or haven't chosen yet, Google Analytics runs without cookies and only receives basic, cookieless measurements.
3. Preferences stored in your browser
Low-data mode, the last lesson you opened (so you can pick up where you left off) and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
4. Third parties
When you pay, you are taken to Paystack's checkout, which sets its own cookies under its own policy. Embedded videos and live-class links may open Zoom, Google Meet or the video host, which have their own cookie policies.
5. Your choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time with the button above, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the essential cookie you will not be able to sign in.
